Awww Destin in January!
I know many of you may not believe me that I didn’t plan getting the heck out of Nashville to get away from the blizzard that just hit, but it was pure luck!! :) Oklahoma got hit pretty hard as well! Wanted to post a few pics from the vacay and a few pics that I have been receiving from people in Nashville and Oklahoma!
We came to Destin back in June and it was 90 degrees everyday and sunny and gorgeous, water just crystal clear and the most beautiful blues and greens you’ve ever seen, this trip its been cloudy and a little cold….cold being about 50-60 degrees. YES I know its better than being in Nashville or somewhere where its 20 degrees and snowing, but we had to where jackets and scarfs on the beach today! Its still beautiful and so nice to be here!
This picture we had stopped into a restaurant called Harry T’s right off the harbor in Destin for some coffee cause it was cold. The waitress (which was the same waitress that we had when we were here back in June, who’s last name is Edwards & she is also originally from Nashville :) weird I know), but she said ya’ll just missed the dolphins playing. I was so disappointed, but about 5 minutes later here they were. It was beautiful!! I love dolphins but to have about 10 of them about 15 ft away, was awesome!!
