Well I hope you are enjoying the holidays as much as I am! If you remember back in July that some department stores were advertising some of their sales as “Christmas in July”. I didn’t wanna hear anything about Christmas in the middle of summer, but now I could not be more ready for it to be here! It is such a busy time of year and especially as we wrap up the year with some end of the year shows. This coming Tuesday, December 14th I will be playing & hosting the night in the lounge at 12th & Porter from 7-10pm with guests Mason Douglas and Tonja Rose! It was originally Erin Ashleigh’s show, but she had a death in the family this week so had to return to Oklahoma and asked me to take the reigns on this one. I wanna send out my love and prayers to her and her family in this tough time!
It’s hard to believe that it has been close to 8 months since the May Nashville Floods. Terry and Wanda Seay, friends of the Nashville music community, they will be hosting a very special show in their home December 18th. They were out of town at the time of the flood and wanted to do their part and give back to the city. They have a huge line up of songwriters and I’m so honored to be asked to be a part of the night. Also, mark your calendars for Jan 20th-Susan Greene has put together so many great shows this year and its not gonna stop in 2011. We will be playing in the lounge at 12th & Porter 7-10pm. Line up includes, Lainey Edwards, Billy Dawson, Adam Gregory, Jon Nite, Jenny Gill, Dillon Dixon, Shane McAnally, Trevor Rosen, & Josh Osbourne. AMAZING night!!
A lot of you have been asking about the monthly chat. We will resume the chats on January 11th. For those that would like to watch we will be broadcasting the show at 12th & Porter this Tuesday and might be able to chat a little bit, but the regular chats will begin in January. I wanted to you to be able to enjoy the time with your family and for us to kick off the new year big!!
