Wanna hear Lainey Edwards & Keith Urban sing together?
I DO :) I’m sure you’ve all heard about this new contest that Guitar Center and Keith Urban are teaming up on. If you haven’t hear is a little sneak peak of what it is. It’s called YOUR NEXT RECORD WITH KEITH URBAN. There are wonderful prizes, but probably the best one of all is you record a single and Keith will sing on it with you. It is a contest and you never know how they can go, but I really wanted to give this a chance. It is not a popularity contest but a way for people to be introduced to all kinds of undiscovered music. The way they have set up voting is a little different. You have to listen to other people’s music and then mine will pop up in rotation and then you rate them best to worst & here is your part…….VOTE ME AS YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST ;)….super simple….hopefully you are already a fan of my music and what I do. The details on how to register and vote are a little long, but it could TOTALLY BE WORTH IT!! I promise you when Keith and I’s song goes number 1, you are all invited to the #1 party :)!!!!! step 1: go to: step 2: register step 3: go to your email and confirm your ourstage account and you will be ready to rock! attention: the confirmation email could be in your spam folder….. step 4: login with you username and password step 5: go to http://www.ourstage.com/profile/laineyedwards THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP…..FOR ME TO BE IN THE TOP ROTATION AND HELP YOU FIND MY SONG QUICKER…YOU MUST DECLARE ME AS YOUR FAV ARTIST……it will ask you “Is this your favorite artist?” you will then click the lime green button “Make This My Favorite Artist” on the right side of the page step 6: then click the SONGS tab in between OVERVIEW and PLAYLISTS step 7: next to ‘SHADOW GIRL’ click on my picture step 8: above Add, Favorite, Comments, Tag, Buy, Flag, Share there is a (competing in Guitar Center) lime green button, click that step 9: above CURRENT STANDINGS click on the word JUDGE step 10: listen to 15 seconds of each of the artist and click and drag them into the Drop Zone in your favorite order step 11: my picture and song should show up somewhere in the first 20 artists (*ONLY IF YOU DECLARE ME ASYOUR FAVORITE ARTIST) then you can put me in as your (drag item 1 here)I know this is alot of steps but there are alot of deserving artists out there that need to be heard so give them a listen but vote for me! haha!
